To be champion, you’ve got to train like one. With the latest sports compression gear by 2XU and ONE Championship, now you can!
Held at Keypower sports shop at Velocity shopping mall, the product launch saw a new multi-year regional partnership between the biggest Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion in Asia, ONE Championship and 2XU.

“We are very excited to be launching for the first time, premium co-branded compression gear. This is the first in the history of Asian MMA. On behalf of ONE, I want to thank Robert and 2XU, not just for the support, but for recognising MMA as the fastest growing sport in the world,” said Victor Chu, Senior Vice-President and Head of Commercial Partnerships of ONE Championship.
Also at the media event were Robert Lu, Director of Key Power International, ONE Championship ring girl Mel Tan and fighters, Shinya Aoki, Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke, Eddie Ng, Stephen Langdown and Major Overall.

The ONE/2XU official compression gear comes in either shorts or tights. Sizes range from XXS to XL for men and XXS to L for women.
The 2XU Compression Gear is known for its engineered support to the athlete’s major upper leg muscles. It reduces vibration, improves alignment and protects against damage and fatigue, perfect for elite training in all forms of MMA like Muay Thai, Wrestling and Jiu-jitsu. The 70 Denier PWX FLEX fabric used for the ONE/2XU Compression Tights is no exception as it keeps up circulation to increase the athlete’s power.
“Your muscles stay warm and you're less likely to cramp up,” commented Major Overall.

We also caught up with our very own Singaporean fighter, Stephen Langdown, for a quick chat. Stephen will meet A La Teng Hei Li from China in the cage at ONE: Warrior’s Quest. Coming off a fresh win from last year, the 22-year-old is looking to collect another victory to boost his professional MMA record.
“I’ve been training really hard for this fight. My team and I have a solid game plan and we’re looking forward to going out there to make it 3 and 1.”
Stephen uses the ONE/2XU compression gear during his preparation.
“I have 2 pairs and I think it’s amazing. It’s a really good product.”
When he’s not preparing for a fight, Stephen works as a personal trainer. He sheepishly admits that he doesn’t have much spare time now but it’s clear to see why. Despite some lifestyle changes since his ONE Championship debut, Stephen remains humble in his pursuit for glory in his career.
“Business has been good with personal training. I get recognised once in a while which is really cool. But other than that, I’m just the same guy, just chasing his dream.”
So, when it comes to fight night, fans can expect him to give nothing but his best.
“I just tell myself how much I want this. I know how important this is for me so I’m not gonna let anyone take away my dreams.”
